Remote Memory Clinic
Description:
The Remote Memory Clinic pilot project aims to offer neuropsychological assessments in familiar, comfortable settings. Comprehensive testing is conducted via computer, either at a local doctor’s office or pharmacy. This initiative is especially beneficial for individuals in rural areas or those with mobility issues, making memory assessments more accessible. If abnormalities are found, further diagnosis may be recommended at a Memory Clinic.
Procedure:
- Participants complete neuropsychological tests through a computer interface, guided by a therapist.
- If necessary, additional in-person evaluations may be arranged at a Memory Clinic.
Eligibility criteria:
- Individuals with cognitive difficulties
- Doctor's offices or pharmacies interested in collaborating
