Overview of frontotemporal dementia with a focus on the behavioural variant

In this webinar, (Neurologist and Head a.i. of the Memory Clinic at the Department of Dementia Diseases at the University Center for Medicine of Aging FELIX PLATTER in Basel) will present key aspects of frontotemporal dementia (FTD, a neurodegenerative disease syndrome caused by frontotemporal lobar degeneration.
FTD is the second most prevalent form of young-onset dementia, presenting with a range of clinical and pathological features. It is characterised by a progressive decline in behaviour and/or language associated with the degeneration of the frontal and/or anterior temporal lobes. This webinar will focus on the behavioural variant, which is more prevalent than the two language variants.
The webinar is hosted by (Neurologist and senior physician at the Leenaards Memory Centre at the CHUV in Lausanne).
