Research interest
My research is intended at studying the mechanisms of physiological and pathological tau cell-to-cell propagation in Alzheimer’s disease and other tauopathies. My current research projects aim at developing tools to detect seeding-competent pathological tau conformers in human samples and study the mechanisms of tau uptake and secretion. I am dedicated to dementia research and take benefit from my dual background and current activities in the lab and at the Memory Center to develop translational projects.
