New Partnership with AGE-INT

Partnership Announcement with the logos of age.int and the Swiss Network for Dementia Research

We are excited to announce a new partnership with - a comprehensive initiative addressing the multifaceted challenges and opportunities of an ageing society.


As part of the AGE-INTernational consortium, the Dementia Cluster is dedicated to developing and evaluating innovative approaches to improve the care of people with dementia with a strong focus on


  • specialised care concepts for acute hospitals
  • development of immersive VR practices that make the experience of people with dementia more comprehensible to the public
  • preservation of physical mobility is being promoted by developing best practice recommendations and a corresponding intervention for care homes
  • interdisciplinary citizen science lab for person-centered tests of assistive technologies for people for people with dementia


This partnership marks a significant step forward in advancing dementia care research. By joining forces, AGE-INT's network and our network aim to bridge gaps in research, treatment and care. We believe that innovation in dementia care can be more effectively achieved through interdisciplinary knowledge exchange and collaboration.


Together, we aim to ensure that the needs of patients are better understood and integrated into research, improving the quality of life for people with dementia and their families.
