Position overview
The University Hospital of Bern is seeking a dedicated Assistant Psychologist to join the Neuropsychology team within the Neurological Memory Clinic, part of the Interdisciplinary Memory Clinic. This role encompasses both clinical and research responsibilities.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct neuropsychological assessments, primarily for patients with neurodegenerative conditions
- Interpret test results and prepare comprehensive diagnostic reports
- Manage administrative tasks, including correspondence, documentation, and maintenance of patient records
- Participate in ongoing research projects
Candidate profile
- Master's degree in Psychology
- Currently enrolled in postgraduate training in Clinical Neuropsychology (e.g., MAS Neuropsychology at the University of Zurich)
- Experience with neurodegenerative diseases and/or research is advantageous
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills and empathy in patient interactions
