Position overview

The University Hospital of Bern is seeking a dedicated Assistant Psychologist to join the Neuropsychology team within the Neurological Memory Clinic, part of the Interdisciplinary Memory Clinic. This role encompasses both clinical and research responsibilities.


Key responsibilities

  • Conduct neuropsychological assessments, primarily for patients with neurodegenerative conditions
  • Interpret test results and prepare comprehensive diagnostic reports
  • Manage administrative tasks, including correspondence, documentation, and maintenance of patient records
  • Participate in ongoing research projects


Candidate profile

  • Master's degree in Psychology
  • Currently enrolled in postgraduate training in Clinical Neuropsychology (e.g., MAS Neuropsychology at the University of Zurich)
  • Experience with neurodegenerative diseases and/or research is advantageous
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills and empathy in patient interactions
